Add-on Overview: Advanced Inventory Control
This module adds inventory tools that help make inventory adjustments quicker and easier when done on a large scale or many at the same time. Keeping track of each inventory change, one-by-one can be very time consuming and costly, so these tools were created to make completing multiple transactions at once possible.
What does it do?
- The Bulk Inventory Adjustments tool allows you to use filters to view sections of your inventory and then make changes to groups of inventory at the same time. For example, adding a comment to all the plants in a growing location, or adjusting the ready date for all or many of the 1 gallon items.
- The Inventory Transfers tool allows you to move items in bulk by creating a transfer list of items and their adjustments, print or export the list, then post all the adjustments at once when they are completed.
Who would want or need this?
- A nursery that doesn’t want to do inventory transactions one-by-one.
- Mid- or Large-sized nurseries with a substantial inventory.
- A nursery doing routine inventory management throughout the year.
- Nurseries who grow product on more than one farm and routinely move inventory around.
What additions will I see in eGrow Connect?
- Both the
Bulk Inventory Adjustments tool and 
Inventory Transfers tool will be added to the 
Inventory top menu.
